About The Job

Schwarz Digits creates the technological foundation for digital sovereignty in Europe. As the IT and digital division of the Schwarz Group, we develop and manage the IT infrastructures for the retail divisions Lidl and Kaufland, as well as Schwarz Production and PreZero. At the same time, we operate as an independent provider in the external market to support companies across Europe in their digital transformation. About The Internship Program

Are you passionate about backend development and eager to gain hands-on experience with GO or Kotlin? Our internship program is designed to give you real-world exposure to software development, working alongside experienced engineers on meaningful projects.

The Impact You Will Create

Join us for a 3-month internship where you’ll:

  • Develop, test, and maintain backend services using GO.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to build scalable and efficient solutions.
  • Work with databases, APIs, and cloud technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and agile development processes.
  • Learn best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.

Experience And Skills You Will Need

  • You are a fresh graduate or last year student
  • Basic knowledge of GO programming (academic projects or personal work).
  • Understanding of backend development concepts, REST APIs, and databases.
  • Interest in cloud technologies and microservices.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a team.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
