📍 Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer Intern passionate about creating intuitive and user-centered digital experiences. In this role, you will support the design team in understanding user needs and contribute to creating wireframes, prototypes, and UI components while collaborating with designers, developers, and product owners. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with design systems, usability research, and the end-to-end product design process, while developing practical skills in Figma and FigJam.

🔍 What will you do?

• Participate in understanding business processes, user needs, and project objectives by joining team meetings and requirement gathering sessions.

• Assist in creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma and FigJam.

• Contribute to designing intuitive and visually consistent UI components, following the existing design system.

• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other designers to validate design decisions.

• Support user research and usability testing activities by gathering insights and documenting findings.

• Help refine and maintain the design system by creating or updating components, styles, and interaction patterns.

• Prepare handoff deliverables for development, including specifications, interaction details, and assets.

• Participate in design reviews, incorporate feedback, and iterate to improve the quality of UI/UX deliverables.

• Ensure all design outputs follow best practices in accessibility, responsiveness, and consistency.

• Maintain clear communication with teammates, offering regular updates and proactively asking questions when needed.

🎯 What makes you a great fit?

• Proficiency in Figma: using frames, auto-layout, components, variants, prototyping, and design tokens.

• Basic knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, and creating user flows.

• Understanding of UI design principles (layout, spacing, grid, typography, colors).

• Understanding of fundamental UX design principles: hierarchy, navigation, usability, and task efficiency.

• Familiarity with Design Thinking and user-centered problem-solving techniques.

• Basic knowledge of digital accessibility (WCAG), contrast, touch targets, and intuitive navigation.

• Ability to create low-fidelity and mid-fidelity prototypes in Figma.

• Understanding of the developer handoff process (specs, assets, inspect mode).

• Introductory knowledge of design systems, reusable components, and visual consistency.

• Ability to work with feedback and quickly iterate on designs.

• Analytical thinking and user-oriented problem-solving skills.

• Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to document and understand processes.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Basic familiarity with project management concepts (e.g., Gantt, RACI).

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.

• Basic understanding of business processes and supporting systems.
